Mada Mada Dane!

Phew, after countless of hours tweaking and coding for this blog, it still requires a lot of work to be done.

Challenges:

Among the areas:

1. PageSpeed still reports terrible mobile mode. A mere 58/100 score when responsive layout is enabled. Got 74% if I permit Blogger internal's mobile mode to work.
2. PageSpeed for Desktop mode is barely okay with 85% score. Some nasty render-blocking issues.

Progress:

Several enhancements has been made today. PendekarLaut.com now has

1. Simpler table of content. It is basically a list of articles in this blog. Sort in chronological order.
2. Responsive recent post widget.
3. Responsive & StylishFacebook comment box at QnA page.
4. Responsive Google+ Badge.
5. A new logo (yay!)

Plans and Wishes

To do list:

1. Every image in this blog should has no link unless it is a necessity.
2. Every image should has its alt text and title text.
3. Different side bars for - home, pages and posts.
4. Able to show posts' thumbnails and snippets based on label.
5. Properly add meta tag for SEO purpose.
6. Increase opacity for the post's background image to reduce distraction when viewing the 'floating' widget.
7. Consider to implement 'not so obtrusive Facebook likebox popup' where the users can hide it for a week without clicking on LIKE button.
8. Remove CallBack JavaScript code.
9. Add a function where the user must share the post to his/her social media (Facebook, Twitter or Google+) before he/she can view the exclusive content.
10. Consolidate several external Javascript files into 1 big JS file. Same goes with CSS.
11. Every image's file name should reflects the post title. Download, rename and re-upload if required. 
12. Every heading image should has title's keyword on top of it. To increase readers' alertness and click on the image after the readers finish reading the current article.
13. When the readers click on tag/label, the blog should displays at least 10 entries. Complete with its thumbnail, title and description. Refer Newspaper WordPress theme.

Hmmm, quite a list here. As I said, mada-mada dane (Prince of Tennis). But I enjoyed every bit of it.
